    I like the ease of this poem.  Is the final line supposed to be “sentiment” or “Sentient?” Not sure here.   You often have a kind of annoyed posture which I think suits we older folk who always feel a bit fed up with matters of the world. Bravo! Peter

      Ha, thanks Peter. It’s sentient. ( I just took a look and see I wrote sentiment !) MY BAD !!! Thanks for pointing that out !Yes, annoyed at myself mostly for being so naive and idealistic about life. I’ve always wanted to know THE TRUTH. Funny how THE TRUTH is so hard to figure out…because THEY don’t want us to know … THEY want us easy to manipulate & and control. Ever watch the movie THE MATRIX or THEY LIVE ?

      We’ve been gaslit about the truth of reality forever…. WHY ? Because if you knew the truth it would freak you out !!!
      We’ve been prisoners on Earth . They need us for energy….
