   Oh, interesting. The rice paper is really thin, then? Makes it so you can have that “bleeding” effect you get with watercolour?

      Yeah…I’ve experimented with India Ink & rice paper before too ( A Japanese technique called SUMIE)

      I think the bleeding effect is caused more by the kind of fibers and loose texture quality of the rice paper… it’s softer than regular paper…

      It’s fun

      I’m also experimenting with Hibiscus tea… to paint with…

      I don’t have any watercolor paints right now

      I’ve never really painted much with watercolors …. Since I was a little child… haha

      I’ll post the hibiscus stuff soon….
