Hi ! I just saw your comment 🙂 I am in a constant state of fight or flight …i never know when i’m going to take off…right now i have a huge SUV and am thinking about getting a cargo trailer conversion that has windows and insulated and a fan built in for ventilation…i wanted a van initially, but i can’t afford a good one…there are lots of people living this lifestyle now….you can connect with others no matter where you live ! Good for you! 🙂 Oh I travel anyway without a car. And without a partner. Buses, trains, planes, boats. Have had boyfriends that I have travelled with before in the past. But hard to find the travelling types.
When I do get my driving licence I want to get a Camper Van. 🙂 Yes I have been with people that have had cars, campers, etc. But I would love the freedom of having my own. I hope to go travelling again soon.
You have been talking about that since you started your blog. I think your blog started with you selling your van! Anyway hope you get a new one and get to go on some cool trips. 🙂
Ok good…i didn’t realize you wanted to get your drivers license….i know a few people that never wanted to…so that’s good you have a plan ! My blog started with poetry…and the van came in much later…i have PTSD & anxiety issues….and getting the van was a survival trigger (fight or flight)….then i had another panic attack thinking i’d have to scrape snow & ice off of it all winter every morning to get to work….and thought that would be too hard for me, as i am no spring chicken anymore….LOL. But i kicked myself in the butt for that (getting rid of the van) & being such a chicken to scrape snow & ice off it ……so i want to do it again, as i am obsessed with this idea of having my own roof over my head and not having to be in the situation i am living in now (with someone i do not love). I want to spend the end of my days on this earth being free from toxic relationships….also as i am retired from work now i can’t afford to live in an apartment….so a van will be my home instead, and i will get happier & healthier living alone with nature….and of course meeting other nomads on the road and making new friends along the way !!!
Well I kinda want to travel more than I want to pay rent bills and driving lessons lol! So driving lessons always seem to take a back seat! I do cycle. But only if the weather is okay. I will learn one day when the time is right. I will probably do a crash course!
Well I hope you get your van going and have the happy life. 🙂 With shiny happy people having fun. 🙂 And close to nature. 🙂
